Hershey, PA- Brad improved to 3-0 on the season, as he helped his club maintain their 5 game winning streak last night as they beat the Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals) 3 to 2. The Penguins rolled into the two-time defending AHL Champions home rink looking to keep their perfect season start. With timely goals and keeping the Bears lethal powerplay to 0 for 5, the Penguins were able to continue their winning streak.
The Bears out shot the Penguins 32-15 on the night, with Brad kicking out 30 to earn himself 3rd star of the game honours.
Packed with start talent with the likes of ex-Edmonton Oiler Sheldon Souray and reigning league MVP Keith Aucoin (Norwich University Alumn), the Bears were unable to beat Brad in the dieing seconds of the game.
Brad and the Penguins are at home tonight taking on the Binghamton Senators (Ottawa Senators). It hasn't been announced if Brad will get the start in net tonight, but with his strong performance last night I would be shocked if he didn't.
