First Star for Theissen, Improves to 4-0

Glen Falls Civic Center - Brad helped his club, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, continue their dominance in the AHL this season. He turned away 18 of 17 shots to earn first star of the game in a 4-1 victory over the Adirondack Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers).

Specials teams proved to be the turning point for the Penguins as they held the Phantoms to 0 and 6 on the power play. Penguins had goals from Ryan Craig, Carl Sneep, Jesse Boulerice, and Nick Johnson.

The Penguins are tied for first now with the Portland Pirates (Buffalo Sabres) in the Eastern Conference of the AHL and are the only team in the AHL with a perfect record (7 wins, 0 losses).

Brad improved his stats to a 1.96 goals against average and an impressive 93% save percentage.

The Penguins are back in action tonight in Hershey, Pennsylvania as they take on the Bears (Washington Capitals).
