Western Michigan Broncos help a family fight cancer

The Western Michigan University Broncos ice hockey team are about to embark on a journey that every college hockey team dreams of, a trip to the Frozen Four. However, the journey of a family and one of their young sons has been a battle against cancer. The family is a big supporter of the Broncos ice hockey club and through their tough journey the Broncos have helped them lift their spirits while creating a life long bond with them.

It is great to see clubs reach out to communities and create personal connections. Good luck to Western Michigan as they take on Denver University, Saturday March 26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. And more importantly, best of luck to Gideon and his fight against Leukemia.
