I do not like to have 'regrets in life' but if there is any regret I do have regarding my hockey career, it is that I did not make it down to Australia for a season of hockey. The Australian Ice Hockey League is a strictly amateur league but manages to recruit players from all over the world to play in its April - August season (Australia's winter months). The league continues to grow in popularity and attendances for games are on a steady rise as more teams are joining every year.
