National Championship round up

The Canadian Inter-university Sport (CIS) National Champions have been awarded for 2010-11 season. On the women's side, McGill University (Montreal, Quebec) defeated St.Francis Xavier University (Antigonish, Nova Scotia) 5-2 to win the schools 3rd National Championship.

This past weekend saw the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton, New Brunswick) win their 3rd National Championship in 5 years (4th overall) after they defeated McGill University 4-0.

The NCAA Division 3 National Championships have been completed. The Norwich University (Northfield, Vermont) women's hockey team won their first ever championship defeating the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) 5-2.

St.Norbert College (De Pere, Wisconsin) men's hockey team won their second National Championship after defeating Adrian College (Adrian, Michigan) 4-3. 

The NCAA Division 1 Frozen Four field has been finalized after an exciting regional tournament. Minnesota-Duluth will face Notre Dame and Michigan will take on North Dakota in the semi's April 7. The championship game will be played on Saturday April 9.
