NCAA Northeast-10 Conference Playoffs

The Northeast-10 Conference Semi-Final's will take place tomorrow night. The Northeast-10 Conference is the only NCAA Division 2 Ice Hockey Conference in the USA. The quarterfinals were played on Saturday that saw #6 seed Southern New Hampshire University upset # 3 seed Franklin Pierce University 3-2 in overtime. Assumption college, the 4th seed, defeated the 5th seeded Stonehill College 5-2.

Tomorrow will see a rematch of the 2010 Championship game as the defending NE-10 Champions St.Anselm College will face Assumption College. In the other game, 2011 Regular Season Champions Saint Michael's College will face Southern New Hampshire University. Saint Michael's and St.Anselm hold the most NE-10 Championship titles, 5 each with Saint Michael's winning their last title in 2009. Go Purple Knights!
