This was actually a lot easier than I had imagined. To connect myself to the great I only needed 1 step. Yes 1 degree of separation from the Great One himself.
My connection is goaltender David LeNevue. David and I were selected along with 4 other goaltenders to try out for Team Canada-Pacific to participate in the World U17 Challenge. David made the team and eventually would play on the Phoenix Coyotes. And who was his coach on the Coyotes? Gretzky.
