Here is the brawl between Atlanta Thrashers and Boston Bruins on the 23rd that resulted in a Milan Lucic getting a fine, and no suspension, for his late punch.
I still cannot understand why the fans in Atlanta do not want to watch this team this year. Atlanta is completely re-stocked with skill and toughness this season, yet they continue to play in front of a half-empty audience (66.9% capacity average, 3rd last in NHL). Put that team in any Canadian or Northern American market and they would have a waiting list for season tickets.
They have Andrew Ladd and Dustin Byfuglien who played for Chicago last year and won a Stanley Cup. Byfuglien is leading the team and NHL defensemen in points currently (early Norris Trophy candidate). They also have a young star starting to show promise in Evander Kane (23 points in 38 games this year compared to his 26 points in 66 games last season).
