2011 Winter Universiade - Canada Women's Update

The women's team finish they round robin play today with a game against the hosts, Turkey. Canada currently sits 1st place in the standings and with a win today would guarantee them a 1st place finish heading into the semi-finals.

Sitting in second is Finland who will play Slovakia today. Whoever wins this game will secure 2nd spot, but regardless of the result today, these two teams will be playing against each other in the semi's providing Canada wins today (and I can't see Turkey beating Canada!).

Team USA just beat Great Britain 8-1 and secured 4th spot which means they will most likely be facing Canada in the semi's. Canada vs USA in the semi's, great match up!
