SOG: 39 to 19. Another solid game by Turkey's goaltender Erol.
Slovenia - 8 vs Spain - 0
SOG: 49 to 18. Talk of the tournament has been of Japan's and Spain's goalie. Spain's goalie, Ander Alcaine, is 19 years old and is playing for FC Barcelona (yes they have a hockey team too).
USA - 5 vs Japan - 3
SOG: 34 to 39. Nice win for the Americans. They will play for the 5th place classification game next.
3rd Period
Slovakia - 2 vs Czech Republic - 2
Women Semi-Finals:
Finland - 5 vs Slovakia - 1
SOG: 42 to 11. Finland advances to the gold medal game and awaits the winner from the USA vs Canada game.
2nd Period
Canada - 4 vs USA - 1
Good start for Canada. Hope to see them in the Gold Medal Game!!
